We look for out of the way places when we travel, sometimes we have a hit, sometimes a miss. Thus was A HIT, Great burger, really good shake, onion rings and crispy fries. A little off the interstate but not far, worth the drive.

This is a small town mom-n-pop restaurant with burgers, fries, tenderloin, etc. So it's not fine dining or anything, but it is delicious. The food is good quality, service is quick and considerate, and they are so generous with the chocolate in their chocolate shakes! My only quibble was that the outdoor seating was kind of dirty. I will absolutely return!

Hella good, I did get peanuts instead of pecans but the salty nuts made the hot fudge taste like hot fudge and salty caramel and the whipped cream was the kind like at a nice coffee shop not the crap from the store and the ice cream was good. My dad recommended this place so I went out of my way to find Lexington just to stop in. Worth it. Recommended for people who are in Lexington or who like ice cream.

Working in the area and came to eat with a coworker and I had the grilled chicken sandwich with French fries and chips and my coworker had a double burger with onion rings and shredded pork, no complaints here, will definitely be back. Good food, good service . Thanks ...

Lovely Albanian/Macedonia owned burger joint. The lady owner is very friendly, and the burgers are absolutely delicious. Best burger I had in ages actually.

This is THE Shake Shack, not the Shake Shack restaurant chain. Emily and I made plans to visit Analytical Brewing based on a shirt we saw at Evergreen Farm Brewing. While looking for things to do in Lexington, I found that there isn’t much due to it being a small town. BUT, there is an ice cream shack right next to the brewery and that was the perfect spot to get some food before putting down a few beers. We pulled up and walked around to the ordering window outside. There was a lady in front of us which gave us time to figure out what we wanted. Emily settled on a philly steak sandwich and I got the buffalow chicken sandwich. We took a seat at one of the tables and waited for our food. There is an indoor seating area and I did go check it out since we had time to kill. I took a glance in and liked what I saw. It had a very diner-esque feel inside. I didn’t do more than stick my head in and look around due to the only people inside were some teenage girls. It didn’t take too long for the food to come out. Emily and I took our food and headed next door to try and eat it inside the brewery. The bartender said it was a-okay to eat inside. Funny enough, once we sat down, we say a sign on the table that said you can order from your table and it’ll either be brought over from The Shake Shack or you can go grab it real quick. We were both starving and we dug in real quick (while sipping our beers, but that post comes next). The buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious! It wasn’t too hot or too spicy, which was a bit of a bummer but the flavor and heavy butter flavor in the bun was just what I needed. Emily said her philly steak (minus onions) was possibly the best thing she’s ever had... either because she was famished or it was just that good. So, the food is great! At least what we had. How was their ice cream offerings? Funnily, we didn’t get any. The idea sounded good after we were done at the brewery but in reality... we were just ready to head home and unwind from everything. The desire was there at least! I have no doubt that if their ice cream is as good as their food, you are in for a treat. If I go back and get their ice cream, I will add a comment in here on how it was. Also, I didn’t really get any good photos here so it would be nice to go back and get some better ones.

Visiting from England last week and we came across The Shake Shack whilst driving the old route 66 on our way back to Chicago. What can I say, the food we had was some of the best we'd had the whole trip. Top quality burgers and shakes. Great atmosphere of an authentic diner and the girl that was working that day that was part of the family business couldn't have been more polite and friendly. Made us feel really welcome and very chatty. If you're in the area this place is a must, but make sure you're hungry. I'm a big eater and struggled to finish my meal. Very reasonably priced too. All in all a great experience. Well done guys.
